Congrats to Kim, Mandy, and Ryan for bringing home the coveted NORTH COUNTY CHAMPION’S trophy during the First Annual Calvary Chapel Jupiter Battle of the Bands! Calvary Chapel Jupiter did an outstanding job putting on this event…6 youth groups with over 500 students were there! Additionally, thanks to all of our 612 Students who went…you guys rocked! Tonight for the first time in 612 Student Ministry history we will field a student band. This excites me because one of my passions is true authentic worship. Although this is a ‘battle of the bands’ with the focus mainly being on the ‘band’ I am proud of our team as they have chosen to do two ‘worship’ type songs. This is exciting to me because although the desire may be to strut your stuff…the focus will be and should be on the Lord. Calvary Chapel Jupiter has done a great job planning and I expect that the 7 student ministries represented there tonight will have an awesome time.
