Romans 5:1 ‘Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,’

Do you and I really have ‘peace’. Think about it, if the Word of God says we have been justified through faith and have peace then by all means we do. Why is it then that you and I sometimes act like we don’t? Case ad point: Sometimes we get so isolated from God because we have not been doing devotions or perhaps because we have not been going to Church. We fall victim to the the trap that says ‘you aren’t good enough for God so quit trying’. You see you and I don’t have to do a thing. God bestowed grace upon us. Grace is unmerited favor. Neither you or I can create it, earn it, buy it, trade it…it is simply Gods to give.

Let us charge ahead this week with the knowledge that we do have peace because of the grace of God. Let us not toil with the fact that perhaps even as you read this that you may not have the strongest morning devotion or perhaps you don’t know the books of the Bible. Let us have peace because of the grace that has been given…thats being given. Let us not try to earn it. When we understand this I believe those morning devotions and personal studies will improve…why you ask? Because as we take the pressure of performance out of our walk with the Lord and allow the relationship to develop that’s when He will begin to speak to us and change us.

It’s all about grace…His grace.
