I’ve been reading ‘Confessions of a Pastor’ by Craig Groeschel. Craig Talks about three types of believers.
1. Casual Believer: Such a person believes in God, but hasn’t fully surrendered to Him. This person may be a church attender, and possible a very moral person. Even though this person believes in God, this person lives there life as if God doesn’t really exist—a confessing theist, but a practicing atheist.
2. Convenient Believer: This is a person who waves the Christian flag whenever it involves a potential benefit…like a date or something else of value. This person uses God to leverage a situation for personal benefit.
3. Committed Believer: The road to committed faith is paved with personal abandonment and self-denial. Life ceases to be about this person and more and eventually all about God.
So which are you?
