2009 Summer Camp
Don’t forget to show up this Friday at the Church from 6:00 - 7:30 pm for our MANDATORY camp meeting. You need to bring your medical release and waiver forms so that they can be notarized. Your parent(s) / guardian(s) must be there as well as we will be going over the details for the camp.
Say Hello to Sir Reginald
As many of you may know, BMW met his contractual obligation of one year as our mascot. He has retired and has recently been adopted by a student in the ministry. Although I am sad to see BMW go, I am excited to see our new mascot make his grand entry.
New Student Mascot
Help me come up with a new student mascot. Here are the rules:
I need you to send me a picture (or upload one to our facebook group) of your proposed mascot. Please make sure that you can obtain this mascot prior to submitting a picture. You can’t steal one…or expect me to find one for you…you must be in possession of it. Once I get a few entry’s I will post a poll so that the students of 612 can vote on their new mascot. Our beloved BMW will be going to college…people always said he was a bit ‘heady’.
Questions for the other Gender
I need your help. I need to come up with some good questions that I can ask a ’select panel’. The questions need to deal with gender stereotypes…like why do guys always talk about sports…or why do girls always go to the restroom in packs of at least two people….
I need good questions…so think them through and post your question(s) here. I plan to make a short video with my ’select panel’ answering these questions.
